COVID-19 Announcement Regarding Our Operations

Our Schedule and Operations during Coronavirus Alert

Update: Our office is now open to visitors. We are closely following CDC guidelines and are taking every measure necessary to keep our clients, visitors and staff safe.

Presently, the local courts continue to be closed for all non-essential matters due to COVID-19. This affects all non-essential hearings, as well as in-person jury trials.

As a result, non-essential hearings continue to be postponed. However, depositions, mediations and other litigation events have restarted. If you have any questions with your specific case, feel free to contact your attorney or staff member at Stewart, Melvin & Frost for an update.

Public health conditions are fluid and evolving, therefore please check back on our website for future announcements related to the coronavirus pandemic and our office operations. In the meantime, we encourage everyone to be safe and mindful of healthy habits and precautions.

If you have any questions, please contact us at 770-536-0101.

Special Announcement from our Real Estate Division:

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we have always prioritized the health of those who attend a real estate closing as an essential business function. While we recently began allowing agents, lenders, family and friends to attend real estate closings in person, the safety of our clients remains our top priority. That is why we encourage PPE equipment for those who wish to personally attend a real estate closing, and encourage (but do not mandate) the wearing of masks when at the closing table. Thank you for understanding.
