Mark Alexander of Stewart, Melvin & Frost Named to Georgia Trend’s Legal Elite

GAINESVILLE, Ga. (Dec. 3, 2012) – Mark Alexander, a personal injury attorney and partner with the regional law firm of Stewart, Melvin & Frost and a recognized leader in the State Bar of Georgia, has been selected as one of Georgia Trend’s “Legal Elite.”

Georgia Trend (https://www.georgiatrend.com/) polled thousands of attorneys statewide for nominations in a variety of recognized practice areas for the 10th annual edition of the business magazine’s prestigious list for 2012. Alexander was selected based upon his Personal Injury practice.

“The Georgia Trend Legal Elite award is a real honor for me as well as our firm,” Alexander said. “I strive to be a strong advocate and counselor for my clients. It is rewarding to be included on this Georgia Trend list and especially to receive this recognition from my colleagues.”

To be considered for the Legal Elite list, attorneys must be nominated by a peer outside their law firm.

Alexander, who has practiced law for more than 20 years, was named to the State Bar of Georgia’s Board of Governors earlier this year. He also is a past president of the Gainesville-Northeastern Bar Association.

Alexander earned his law degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. He has completed studies in advanced trial advocacy techniques at Harvard Law School and negotiation practices through the Harvard Negotiation Project.
