Stewart, Melvin & Frost Names New Attorney to Workers’ Compensation Division

Ronald F. Chicken has joined the Workers’ Compensation division of Stewart, Melvin & Frost as an associate attorney.

During law school, he interned with Judge Elizabeth L. Branch at the Court of Appeals of Georgia and with Judge Timothy C. Batten Sr. at the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Georgia. He served on the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and was an active member of Georgia Law’s Moot Court teams. Chicken’s team traveled to Europe to compete in the Wilhelm C. Vis International Arbitration Moot competition, tying for fifth out of 311 teams and was the highest ranked team from the United States.

Prior to joining Stewart, Melvin & Frost, Chicken also served internships with the Laster Law Firm in Athens and was a summer associate at the Bird Law Group in Atlanta. Chicken is a certified mediator with the Georgia commission on dispute resolution. In addition to his law degree, Chicken holds a master’s degree from Princeton Theological Seminary.
