James M. Coyle

Jim Coyle joined the firm in 2001 and has been a partner since 2004.

In his practice, he focuses on wills, trusts, and estate planning as well as federal tax controversies. He also assists clients with general business issues, including entity formation, corporate and partnership tax planning, sales and acquisitions.

A native of Gainesville, Mr. Coyle is an active Gainesville Jaycee and serves on the board of directors of the Gateway House, a shelter for abused women. He has also been involved in the annual Northeast Georgia campaign for Brenau University and is Chairman of the Planned Giving Committee for the Boys and Girls Club of Hall County.

Mr. Coyle earned his undergraduate degree in European history from Washington and Lee University in 1995, his law degree from Mercer University in 2000 and a master's degree in taxation from Boston University in 2001.
